Newlyn Art Gallery
This weekend Musuems at Night Sat 19th May – 8am, Sun 20th May.
Join Andrew Fielding in the garden at Newlyn as he extracts salt from sea water, using the ancient method of heating saltwater in ceramic troughs over a peat fire.
A solo exhibition of drawings by Katja Davar
The enigmatic work of Katja Davar combines traditional and digital techniques to create surreal hand drawn worlds. This exhibition will include drawings on paper, works on canvas and projected animations.

The Penzance Convention 17th - 20th May 2012
The Penzance Convention is a three-day international conference involving artists, curators, writers, scientists, historians, philosophers and experts from other fields.

While we're getting ready for The Penzance Convention, we have to close some parts of the gallery. Apologies for any inconvenience.
The Cafe is open this week as usual until Friday . It will then be closed from Sat 19th May - Weds 23rd May.
The main gallery is now closed until Thurs 24th May when we reopen with Liminal Bodies
The shop and Pop-up shop are open as nornal throughout The Penzance Convention.
